Directions
Step 1
Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Cook fettuccine according to package directions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1 cup of pasta cooking water before draining. Drain pasta and set aside.
Step 2
Sauté the Mushrooms
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced mushrooms in a single layer and cook without stirring for 3-4 minutes until golden brown on one side. Stir and continue cooking for 5 more minutes until mushrooms are tender and have released their liquid. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Add Aromatics and Cream
Add minced garlic to the mushrooms and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Reduce heat to medium-low. Pour in Holla Cooking Cream and stir well to combine. Let the sauce simmer gently for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Combine and Finish
Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the cream sauce. Toss everything together to coat the pasta evenly, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time if needed to reach your desired consistency. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and toss until melted and creamy.
Step 5
Serve
Divide the creamy mushroom pasta among serving plates. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and extra grated Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy the velvety, rich flavors.
